Current Opening: Application Developer
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Build robust, easy-to-use, .NET-based web applications.
- Creation/Configuration of database schemas.
- SQL Server T-SQL development.
- ASP.NET/ASP programming of site management pages (Contact, Calendar, News, etc.).
- Application/Framework design/configuration as needed.
- Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed.
- Routine daily maintenance of existing sites (ASP.NET/ASP/HTML).
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience of web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP, ASP.Net, C#, and SOAP XML Web Services.
- Understanding of object oriented design and development concepts.
- A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the User Interface to Relational Database Structures
- Strong documentation and writing skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and provide logical solutions that fit not only user requirements but infrastructure interoperability requirements.
- Microsoft development certifications a plus.
